In a move that clearly states it’s values, Uber Technologies Inc., the American-based global online transportation network company has offered a hand to its partner drivers from the 7 countries on President Trump’s temporary travel ban list.
Uber sent a message via its Driver app to all driver partners in the United States offering legal support for any of them needed it.
The message read: “We’re helping get free, confidential legal advice for partners from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, or Yemen affected by the unjust and wrong immigration ban. If you are affected by the immigration ban and need legal advice, we can put you in touch with someone who can help”.
Uber partners with a vast network of individuals from every part of the world and has a high stake on the topic of immigration.
